Apply ESP liberally with a clean dry lint free cloth. ESP stands for - Easy Surface Prep, which makes paint stick to any smooth shiny surface. It provides a powerful grip for any water or oil based paint. Wait 2 hours or until surface is dry then paint.

Coat the pot with a spray surface primer. Be sure to wear a dust mask.
When the primer is dry, finish the job using a multi purpose spray paint. I’ve set up the pot in such a way that I can walk around it while applying the paint.
Leave indoors to dry after spraying to avoid any dust particles sticking to the paint.
