Clean gutter thoroughly with warm water and detergent or Sugar Soap. For greasy, waxed or varnished surfaces, scrub thoroughly with a scouring pad using one of these solutions. Rinse surface thoroughly and dry with a clean cloth.
Apply ESP liberally with a clean dry lint free cloth. ESP stands for - Easy Surface Prep, which makes paint stick to any smooth, shiny surface. It provides a powerful grip for any water or oil based paint. Wait 2 hours or until surface is dry before painting.
Add Owatrol Oil to both undercoat and gloss before you paint. This provides greater adhesion and improved flow ability to your paint. Read instructions to get the correct mix ratio.
Apply undercoat first and leave to dry for time indicated on tin.
When dry apply a gloss paint in the colour of your choice to finish off the job. Apply the paint using even strokes for a better finish.
Now your plastic gutter is completely painted.
